Unique original color 3.5 x 4.25 Polaroid photograph of Prince taken inside the Paisley Park wardrobe before a photo shoot with photographer Jeff Katz for the Sign o' the Times tour book; Prince is pictured on the front cover wearing this very outfit. The image shows Prince standing at full length, dressed in an iconic outfit from the LoveSexy era: a black one-piece jumpsuit with a large white fur shawl draped over his shoulders, adorned with ornate necklaces and a classic 'Sign o' the Times' heart mirror wristband on his left wrist. In fine condition. Accompanied by a copy of the Sign o' the Times tour book.
This is a one-of-a-kind item, as Prince generally refused to allow Polaroids to be taken of himself, and those that were—throughout the process of outfitting him in the Paisley Park wardrobe—had to be defaced or destroyed. Following outfit approval, Prince insisted on having his head cut out of any Polaroids taken of him.
