Prince's exotic stage-worn patterned shirt by English Eccentrics, size L, from the 1990 Nude Tour. The marvelous shirt features an elaborate pattern dominated by royal blue, gold, black, and other complementary hues, and is an iconic piece of Prince's wardrobe from the period. In the early 1990s, Prince's wardrobe staff scouted all over Europe for great fabrics to be proposed to Prince; after a trip to the UK, several 'English Eccentrics' shirts were presented to him for review and approval. Many were selected to be resized and resewn to create new outfits for the Nude Tour, while others, like this example, were left 'large' as Prince preferred the roomier fit when playing in warmer cities.
