Prince's iconic stage-worn custom-made blue high-heeled boots from the 1993 Act I Tour, featuring classic 'Love Symbol' charms as zipper pulls. The handsome hand-crafted blue linen boots measure an overall 6.75″ tall (inclusive of the 4.5″ heels), feature zippered uppers, black leather linings, and rubber Translite soles. Both heels are reinforced with metal brackets, a standard design used for Prince's stage shoes to prevent them from breaking during Prince’s exuberant stage performances. Each has a label inside: "Custom Made by Willie's of Hollywood." Willie’s was owned by master Hollywood shoemaker Willie Rivera, who made shoes for many stars including Fred Astaire, Charlton Heston, Lily Tomlin, Raquel Welch, and Johnny Depp, as well as Prince. In overall very good to fine condition, with noticeable wear from use, including scuffs, wear, and pulls to the fabric resulting from Prince's famous on-stage splits.
Consignor notes that these shoes were obtained from a former Paisley Park employee.
