President John F. Kennedy's personally-owned jewel-encrusted, silver-tone Democratic donkey pin, measuring approximately 1.5″ x 1.75″, with straight-pin clasp on the back. In fine condition. Accompanied by an unsigned provenance note from JFK's personal secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, stating that this symbol of the Democratic Party found its way into John F. Kennedy's desk: "A donkey made with shiny, glittering stones to be worn at a fund raiser or some other democratic event by a girl or a woman as a decorative pin."
