But after all, one does not live by bread alone. I hope you are reading Mr Berkmans MS. I am very curious to know how the work impresses you. Dear Mr Wharton, I depend on your promise not to use our talk for copy. I never should have asked you to call if I thought you wanted an interview. I have refused to see newspaper men for this very reason. However, you have promised not to write about me, there is really nothing very interesting to write just now. You will keep your word, won't you?” Goldman makes several handwritten corrections to the text. In fine condition, with faint toning, and a tiny hole in the lower blank area.
