Color 22 x 10.25 print of James Montgomery Flagg's famous painting of the Dempsey-Willard bout with the caption, “Famous Figures of The Sports World At The Ringside,” signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, “Best regards to Walter Foster, from Jack Dempsey, 11-9-46,” which also bears an affixed ink signature, “Jess Willard,” on an off-white 6 x 1.75 sheet clipped from a check. In very good condition, with creasing and corner tape to the Willard signature, and staining, creasing, and a central vertical fold to the Dempsey print.
