Lennon family Christmas card from 1978, the front featuring a printed drawing by Sean Lennon, measures 7.5 x 8.5 open, signed inside in black ink by John Lennon on behalf of himself and his family, “John, Yoko, Sean,” who has added caricatures of all three below their respective names. The back of the card is printed "sean." In fine condition, with one small piece of clear tape to the inner right edge. Accompanied by two letters of authenticity. A scarce and wonderful Christmas card that was only sent to close friends and family members. This card is all the more desirable given its trio of Lennon sketches; while doodles of John and Yoko are customarily found at auction, drawings of Sean, made by his famous father, are rarely encountered.
