Limited edition color 36 x 25.5 print entitled “Memphis Belle,” numbered 277/1000, featuring an artistic depiction of the ‘Memphis Belle’ and 14 other Boeing B-17F Flying Fortresses from the 91stBG (H) during an aerial fight Focke-Wulf 190 fighters from Jagdgeschwader 2 over Romilly-sur-Seine, France, on December 20, 1942, signed in ballpoint by 11 crew members, including: Robert Hanson, Vince Evans, Robert Morgan (who adds an inscription below), James Verinis, Charles Leighton, Cecil Scott, Harold Loch, John Quinlan, Bill Winchell, Joseph Giambrone, and Casimer Nastal. The print is also signed by pilot Robert Morgan's sweetheart, Margaret Polk, the namesake of the B-17, who was a resident of Memphis, Tennessee. Rolled and in fine condition.
