Memorandum of agreement between Carrie Fisher and the Amsterdam-based publishing house Uitgeverij Bert Bakker, with the former granting the latter “the sole and exclusive right for a period of 10 (ten) years” to publish the novel Surrender the Pink in the Dutch language. Signed at the conclusion in ballpoint by Fisher, who adds her initials to the bottom of the first three pages. In fine condition. Published in August 1990, Surrender the Pink is a romance novel written by Carrie Fisher. This novel, like most of Fisher's books, is semi-autobiographical and fictionalizes events from her real life. It is said to be loosely based on her short marriage to musician Paul Simon.
