Unused mint-condition 5.25 x 1.5 concert ticket for an Elvis Presley concert at the Savannah Civic Center in Savannah, Georgia. Originally scheduled earlier in the year for September 28, 1977, this turned out to be, tragically, a little more than a month after he died. Presley had been scheduled to give several concerts in the eastern U.S. during August and September, after what would be his last actual appearance on June 26 in Indianapolis. Today, these scarce 'post-mortem' tickets are a collecting category. This particular example is one of a number that were held by those of Elvis' staff ('Memphis Mafia'), who served and protected Elvis during his career.
