Exceptional vintage matte-finish 7.25 x 9.25 portrait photo of Rachmaninoff, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "…with sincere thanks, Sergei Rachmaninoff, 1939.” This image very closely matches with a portrait taken by the Kubey-Rembrandt Studios of Philadelphia. Affixed to a slightly larger mount and in fine condition, with light rippling and edge silvering.
