Fountain pen signature and inscription, "Master Robert Kirkby, with all good wishes for Christmas, from Edward Elgar,” penned on an off-white 5.75 x 2.75 shipping tag belonging to "Sir Edward Elgar, O.M.," with stamped address and date, "Battenhall Manor, Worcester, 25 Dec. 1927." The reverse bears a large "E." In fine condition. Accompanied by one of Elgar's personal calling cards, 3 x 1.5, which bears a typed notation: "All good wishes for 1929."
