Impressive AMQS on an off-white 10.75 x 8.25 sheet of musically lined paper, signed below in black ink, “Olivier Messiaen, 18 decembre 1972,” who above adds a lengthy inscription in French to his student Janine Coste, mentioning her work and his seven-piece suite Visions de l'Amen, before below adding several bars of music for ‘The Song of Oruri,’ a Japanese bird song, which he dates to Subashiri, Japan in 1967. In very fine condition.
