French composer (1901-1989) whose varied output includes operas, ballets, symphonies, concertos, chamber and choral music, and film music. AMQS by French composer Henri Sauguet, penned on three 6.75 x 4.75 pages of a musically lined gatefold, which is signed and inscribed on the front in black ink, “Pour John Allen…Henri Sauguet, Paris 1981.” Sauguet writes copious musical quotations to the inner pages and the back page, the latter of which is entitled “Toast.” In fine condition.
