Czech violinist and composer (1857-1922) who gave the first performance of the Violin Concerto by Antonín Dvořák, and his achievements were recognized by the rare award of honorary membership of the Philharmonic Society of London (now the Royal Philharmonic Society) in 1891. Two original drawings of Czech violinist and composer Frantisek Ondricek, one in graphite (a 5 x 7 portrait) and the other in ink (a 4 x 6 full-length pose), both accomplished and signed by an unknown artist, and both works signed by Ondricek in ink or graphite to match the respective medium. Individually matted and framed to overall sizes of 10 x 12.5 and 11.75 x 14.5. In overall fine condition.
