Swiss graphic designer, painter, illustrator, engraver, and sculptor (1909-2015) who is known for having illustrated postage stamps, his lithographs for the Swiss Red Cross, his participation on the Olympic Committee as well as his activism. Original sketch by Hans Erni of a dove, accomplished in red ink on a 6.5 x 3.5 FDC honoring World Communications Year, signed to the right of the sketch, "Erni." In very fine condition.
