American artist (1835-1910) best known for his paintings and watercolors of nature scenes and his imaginative, richly colored stained glass windows. Five items signed or annotated by artist John La Farge, including: two ALSs, three total pages, one dated to 1908, both signed “Jno. La Farge”; a one-page ANS signed “La Farge”; an ink signature, “Jno. La Farge,” clipped from the close of a handwritten letter; and a 1920 admission card to a reception at the Salmagundi Club in New York City, which has been annotated by La Farge. In overall fine condition.
