David Ortiz's game-used Reebok cleats worn while playing for the Boston Red Sox during the 2007 World Series championship season. The spikes are size 12, with the tag inside the tongue marked "Sample." His famous 'Big Papi' nickname and jersey number are represented by "BP 34" embroidered on the sides of both cleats, and each has two strips of Velcro applied to the heels to accommodate his extra-long pants. They show excellent evidence of wear and use, with red clay still embedded in the bottom. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Richard Bond, stating that he acquired them from a contact within the Fenway clubhouse late in the 2007 season.
