Ink signature, "Richard Nixon," on an off-white 5 x 8 book page upon which was later added a typed presidential resignation statement with a mock White House letterhead design, dated August 9, 1974 (but signed later). The text of his historic letter to Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, in full: "Dear Mr. Secretary: I hereby resign the Office of President of the United States." In very fine condition.
