Important Norwegian composer and pianist (1843-1907) whose works, often with a strong nationalistic flavor, include such repertory staples as the 'Piano Concerto in A minor,' the incidental music to Peer Gynt, and the 'Holberg Suite.' ALS in Norwegian, one page, 5.5 x 3.5, March 24, 1902. Untranslated handwritten letter to Sophie Mörch in England, evoking his great symphonic poem "Våren." Addressed on the reverse in Grieg's hand. In fine condition, with a small old mounting remnant to the top edge of the address side.
