Contract between Mansfield and 20th Century Fox, with the former agreeing to make an announcement on the Shower of Stars TV show that "Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation is the producer of the Twentieth Century-Fox CinemaScope production entitled 'The Girl Can't Help It.'" Boldly signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Mansfield and countersigned by two studio officials. In fine condition, with a trivial brush to the bottom of the first letter of her signature.
The Girl Can't Help It was originally intended as a vehicle for the sex symbol Jayne Mansfield, with a satirical subplot involving teenagers and rock 'n' roll music. The unintended result has been called the 'most potent' celebration of rock music ever captured on film, and served as a massive inspiration for Beatles members John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
