Two items signed by John Sturges: an ALS, one page, 6 x 10, personal letterhead, November 12 [1987], a handwritten letter that reads: “Thank you for your letter and all the nice things you said in it. Most of the time it’s fun to make pictures and very particularly so when they bring pleasure and meaning to people who see them. That’s what it’s all about”; and a glossy 7.25 x 8 close-up photo of Sturges smoking a cigarette, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “For Matthew Stiller, with best regards, John Sturges, Hollywood 1987.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 19.5 x 15. In overall fine condition.
