Hardcover bound in full brown calf, 5.25 x 8.5, 368 pages. Book condition: G/None, with cracked joints, rebacked spine, heavy wear to exterior, numerous ownership notations to endpapers and title page, and some old repairs to torn pages. The first Edinburgh edition (second edition overall) of Burns' Poems, a first issue, with 'Duke of Boxburgh' instead of 'Duke of Roxburgh' in the list of subscribers, and 'skinking' instead of 'stinking' on page 263.
