Handwritten letter to Reverend George Burder, the Secretary of the London Missionary Society, in part: “I return you many thanks for your friendly Letter & its most interesting Inclosure. I really scarcely recollect having ever spread a more delightful Narrative and I mean to desire to Mr. Westley to send me half a dozen Copies that may circulate them, not only for the purpose of giving pleasure to the Perusers but for that of inducing persons to subscribe to your excellent Institution who have not hitherto contributed to it.” Wilberforce adds a postscript at the conclusion In fine condition, with splitting along the bottom of the hinge. Accompanied by an engraving with preprinted signature.
