Scarce limited edition commemorative medallion honoring the 2018 North Korea-United States Singapore Summit, a summit meeting between North Korean Chairman Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump, which was held at the Capella Hotel in Sentosa, Singapore, on June 12, 2018, marking the first-ever meeting between leaders of North Korea and the United States. The silver-tone medallion, 57 mm x 38 mm, 43 gm, features red and blue enamel designs to both sides; the front features central English and Korean text, “Singapore Summit,” with lettering to the upper and lower borders: “Donald J. Trump, President of the United States”; and the reverse bears partial flags from their respective summit nations, with border text reading: “With Appreciation, June 12, 2018.” Includes its original wooden presentation case with laser-engraved presidential seal to the top lid, and its accompanying blue paper presentation box, with gilt POTUS seal to the lid. In very fine condition. These medallions were only given to a few very high-ranking North Korean officials, including Kim Jung Un, as well as a few other high-ranking officials from the trip.
