Original sketch of Justice Frankfurter accomplished in pencil by John Raitt on an off-white 5 x 7.75 sheet, signed below the portrait in fountain pen, "Felix Frankfurter." Also signed in pencil by the artist, "Raitt." Matted to an overall size of 8 x 10. In fine condition, with two horizontal mailing folds. A native of Delhi, New York, John Raitt drew portraits of notable figures and had them signed through the mail.
