French painter and lithographer (1867-1947) who trained at the Academie Julien, then joined the group called Les Nabis, which included Denis and Vuillard, with whom he formed the Intimist group. ALS in French, signed “Bonnard,” one page on a 5.75 x 4 postcard, no date but postmarked March 1, 1943. Untranslated handwritten letter by Bonnard to an art dealer, "Mr. Brame," in Saint-Raphaël, Var. Addressed on the reverse in Bonnard's hand, incorporating his surname as part of the return address. In very good to fine condition, with short edge tears, light creasing, and a central vertical fold.
