President Cleveland directs the Secretary of State to “cause the Seal of the United States to be affixed to the Proclamation of the President of the United States, setting apart Thursday November 26th, 1885, as a day of Thanksgiving.” Signed neatly at the conclusion by Grover Cleveland.
