Wonderful collection of 26 items signed in ink or felt tip by a notable cartoonist, consisting almost entirely of original signed sketches of their most recognizable characters, including Popeye, Beetle Bailey, Marmaduke, Smokey the Bear, Andy Capp, Brother Sebastian, and more. The majority are drawn on off-white cards and sheets ranging in size from 4.25 x 2.75 to 10 x 14.5, with several inscribed; only three items do not feature an original sketch. Cartoonists included: Brad Anderson, Sergio Aragones, Al Capp, Ernie Chan, Tom Cheney, Chon Day, Billy DeBeck, Eldon Dedini, Jules Feiffer, Bud Fisher, Rube Goldberg (2), Johnny Hart, Al Hirschfeld (SP), Bil Keane, Ted Key, Walter Lantz (SP), Dick Locher, Clarence Nash, W. B. Park, Dan Piraro (2), Bud Sagendorf, Reg Smythe, Otto Soglow, Mort Walker, Rudolph Wendelin, and Bill Wenzel. In overall fine condition, with some edgewear, including a short tear to the top of the Hirschfeld photo.
