Pioneering Danish filmmaker (1889-1968) celebrated as one of the greatest of all time, best known for his 1928 silent epic The Passion of Joan of Arc. ALS in French, signed “Carl Th. Dreyer,” one page, 8.75 x 11, October 23, 1928. Handwritten letter from Copenhagen, in which Dreyer writes that a project may not be viable as he is unable to meet in Paris. In fine condition.
