Description

Partly-printed vellum DS as president, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 15.5 x 9.5, May 26, 1827. President Adams grants Charles H. Berryman a tract of land "in the Western District of Missouri, containing Eight three acres." Boldly signed at the conclusion by President John Quincy Adams and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham." In very good condition, with heavy wrinkling, scattered staining, a small hole, and a missing seal.
