Attractive pair of silver metal retirement awards from the Canadian Olympic Association and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) of Canada, both presented to James Worrall, who served as the president of the respective organization. The first award is a presentation box, 4.75 x 1.5 x 3.25, engraved on the top lid: “James Worrall, President, AAU of C, 1952 and 1953, in appreciation.” The second is a 12″ decorative plate with a central inscription: “Presented to James Worrall by The Canadian Olympic Association on the occasion of his retirement from the office of Association President, 27th April 1968.” Reverse of both bear “Marlboro Plate, E.P. Copper” stamps. In overall very good to fine condition, with scattered spotting and areas of tarnishing or discoloration.
