Rare letter from the controversial labor leader

TLS signed "James R. Hoffa," one page, 8 x 10.75, International Brotherhood of Teamsters (Chauffeurs, Warehousemen & Helpers of America) letterhead, April 23, 1958. Letter to Ken Browne, in part: "I appreciate the many kind thoughts you expressed and it is my sincere hope that on some occasion, I will have the opportunity to meet both you and your wife. At the moment arrangements are being made for pictures suitable for sending out to a number of my friends who have requested them, and as soon as I receive them, I will make certain that you get one." Archivally matted and framed with a great photo of Hoffa to an overall size of 22.75 x 16. In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
