Two items: an uncommon ‘splashdown’ commemorative cover with an affixed metal cachet honoring the Apollo 12 mission, postmarked at Cape Canaveral on November 24, 1969, signed in black ink by Alan Bean and in blue ballpoint by Richard Gordon, who adds “Apollo XII”; and a color satin-finish 10 x 8 photo of Charles Conrad holding the American flag on the lunar surface during the Apollo 12 mission, signed in gold ink, “I took this photo of my friend Pete Conrad November 19, 1969, Alan Bean, Apollo 12.” In overall fine condition, with scattered small surface creases to the photo.
