Description

Five color prints of concept art developed for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics, each 16 x 10.5, portraying the performers for the associated concert events. Each identifies the theme and performers, including: Southern Rock (Little Richard, Sax Accompanist, Drummer Accompanist); Jazz (Wynton Marsalis Sextet); Rhythm & Blues (BB. King, Al Green, and the Pointer Sisters, signed and inscribed in black felt tip by Anita, Ruth, and June Pointer); Country Parade (Faith Hill, Mark O'Connor, Backup, Accompanist); and Latin (Gloria Estefan, Sheila E., Tito Puente, and Paul Shaffer). Individually matted in the five colors of the Olympic rings and framed to 21 x 15.75. In overall fine condition.
