Handwritten letter to his music editor, publisher, and friend Giulio Ricordi, announcing his arrival in Milan. In full (translated): "We are in Milan! When will you pass by the Hotel Milan etc. etc. We are delighted because we know that Giuditta is well." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original transmittal envelope, addressed in Verdi's own hand.
