Quadruple plate silver cup awarded to Ellery Clark in 1895, measuring 1.75″ x 2″ x 1.75″, with a presentation engraving on the side: "St. Mac, 16 lb. Shot, E. H. Clark, '95." Bottom bears the maker's mark of James W. Tufts, Boston. Exhibits a few bends and dings. American track and field athlete Ellery Harding Clark (1874-1949), went on to become the first modern Olympic champion in high jump and long jump, and the only person to have won both Olympic events, doing so at the Athens 1896 Olympics.
