(Walt Disney Studios, 1959) Rare original production cel of The Lackey from Sleeping Beauty, depicting the drunken servant holding his beloved lute in a three-quarter-length pose. Character image measures 5 x 6, with overall dimensions of 10 x 7.5; the reverse of the included cardstock mount bears a golden Walt Disney Production label. In fine condition. Inspired by the comic actor Franklin Pangborn, the Lackey, who offers no dialogue to the film, steals his scene when he surreptitiously sneaks sips from King Hubert's 16-year-old wine.
