(Walt Disney Studios, 1963) Original production drawing of Merlin from The Sword in the Stone, depicting the powerful wizard in a large half-length pose with his arms extended, his right hand holding what looks to be a teapot. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 15.25 x 12.5 animation paper marked "171" in the lower right corner. Image measures 14 x 11. In fine condition, with some scattered creases, and a couple of short edge tears.
