Austrian writer (1862-1931) best known for his sexually charged plays and stories. His 1926 novella Traumnovelle served as the basis for Eyes Wide Shut, the final film directed by Stanley Kubrick. ALS in German, one page both sides, 8.25 x 10.75, postmarked in Vienna, Austria, on June 2, 1930. An untranslated handwritten letter from Arthur Schnitzler. The original hand-addressed mailing envelope is affixed to the reverse. In fine condition, with two old tape stains from the affixed envelope.
