Group of five press badges issued for the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games. Bronze, 40 mm x 40 mm, 13 gm, manufactured by Whitehead & Hoag of Newark. The badges feature the Olympics rings over a shield and laurel branch, with “Xth Olympiad Los Angeles” above, and engraved tablet below, “Press.” Suspended below the are small yellow and red ribbons, all with "Not Good for Admittance" labels to reverse. One retains its original Whitehead & Hoag cardboard backer, and another has a dollop of hot glue on the reverse from one-time display. Badges with bronze medallions were issued to team managers, athletes and attendants, and to the press.
