Wild West showman who reportedly posed as the son of the famous scout Kit Carson to try and get into West Point, then joined Buffalo Bill's show as a sharpshooter. Vintage ink signature, "Kit Carson, Jr., True to friends & square with enemy, 1st Nov. 1879,” on the reverse of a light blue 3.75 x 2.25 card from the Mansion House of Milford, Massachusetts. Matted and framed with an image of a dime-novel cover to an overall size of 15 x 21. In fine condition.
