He was also a trainer for a short time after retirement, training Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, and James Tillis. Official Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint card application, one page, 8 x 8, stamp-dated on September 22, 1971, at the San Diego Police Station, signed in the applicant field in black ballpoint, “Archie Lee Moore,” who below has added his fingerprints from his left and right hands. The balance of the form, which is countersigned by a police officer, has been left blank. In fine condition, with small stains and light toning.
