ALS signed “William,” one page, 7.25 x 9, August 20, 1820. Handwritten letter to a gentleman, in part: "I have this morning had the most satisfactory conversation which put my mind entirely at rest as I will fully explain to you when I have the pleasure of seeing you tomorrow after the House of Lords rises." Docketed on the reverse in another hand: "August 20th, Duke of Clarence after Interview with Lord Sidmouth." In fine condition, with splitting to the ends of the horizontal folds.
