TLS, one page, 5.75 x 7.75, Columbia University letterhead, July 11, 1950. Letter to Frank T. Heffelfinger, in part: "Only today has a break in my schedule permitted me to write my friends in Minneapolis, thanking them for the compliment they paid me and Columbia University by attending Harry Bullis' dinner at the Minneapolis Club Friday evening. I must say that I appreciate the effort you went to that you might be present and listen to my hopes and plans for the Conference Center here. So far as I myself am concerned, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the four hours we spent together, and I hope that I did not try your indulgence and patience by my talk." In fine condition, with staple holes in the upper left corner. Eisenhower served as president of Columbia University from 1948-1953.
