TLS signed “Dick,” one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, April 23, 1968. Letter to inventor Bill Lear, best known for founding Learjet. In part: "This is just a note to tell you how sorry I am that we were unable to get together—even by telephone—during my brief stopover in Nevada. As Moya probably told you, I arrived back from Carson City late and did not get to spend much time at the reception." He adds a brief handwritten postscript: "I hope to see you on May 1 in New York." In fine condition.
