Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “George R,” one page, 13.5 x 9.75, July 11, 1792. King George III appoints John Saunders Sebright as "Lieutenant to that Company…in Our First Regiment of Foot Guards, Commanded by our Dearly Beloved Brother General William Duke of Gloucester." Prominently signed at the head by King George III. The seals affixed below his signature remain intact. In fine condition, with light soiling, and some skipping to the signature.
