Vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of the Beatles huddled together and peering down into the fisheye lens of a camera during the group’s press conference at the Deaville Hotel in Miami Beach on February 13, 1964, prior to their second historic performance on the Ed Sullivan show that took place three days later. The reverse bears a Camera Press Ltd. copyright stamp and an affixed press caption. In very good to fine condition, with creasing to the corners. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
The image was captured by Lynn Pelham, chief photographer for the Miami News, whose work also appeared in publications like Life, People, Sports Illustrated, and the Saturday Evening Post. Also of interest is that this image was used as part of the Revolver album cover designed by Klaus Voorman.
