Interesting Premier Talent Agency document packet for a Ramones concert at the Hotel Diplomat in New York, on October 7, 1979. The package, two pages with an additional three-page rider, 8.5 x 11, regards, in particular, “Special Lease Provisions Pertaining to Agreement Between Rock Ages / Mark Zakarin (Promoter) and Ramones (Artist)” with respect to the Hotel Diplomat engagement, signed at the conclusion by Zakarin and by an unknown hand, “jR by DR.” The rider, pre-dated to March 29, 1978, lists the band’s requested provisions, such as: 100% star billing; approval of supporting acts; all payments must be in cash; varying ticket prices for students, general admission, advance sales, and at-the-gate sales; no recording devices; and a private dressing room, furnished with “2 Bottles, Club Soda, 2 quarts Perrie Water, 8 Towels (Full Size), Sugar, Honey and Spoons, ½ case Pepsi, ½ case Root Beer, ½ beer (Miller of Bud), (8) Navel Oranges and Assorted Fresh Fruits, Cold Cuts and Sandwiches” and more.
