Appreciation card with preprinted 'thank you' note, 6.75 x 4.25, signed in fountain pen, "Arturo Toscanini, New York, April 14—1934." The card bears an affixed image of the Italian conductor and reads, in full: "Your immediate reply to my appeal for contributions for The Philharmonic-Symphony Society Campaign Fund has deeply touched me and I wish you to accept my heartfelt thanks." In very good to fine condition, with a few small stains, and a crease to the lower right corner of the image.
